How we rank and recommend

Version of 25 October 2026. This page gives the general information on the main parameters that determine the order in which be-loud.eu presents products, their relative importance, and what is personalised in what you see (Directive 2005/29/EC Article 7(4a), Directive 2011/83/EU Article 6a).

1. How products are ordered

Every product list (search results, categories, brand pages, car pages, recommendations and the rows on the home page) orders products by the same parameters, in this order of importance:

Compatibility with the car you chose, where you chose one: a product that fits always comes before one that does not.
A brand order set by the platform, which reflects the ranges we stock, support and know best. We set it ourselves; it cannot be bought.
Availability: products in stock come before products ordered on request.
The list's own criterion: the sort you choose (newest or price) or, in search, how well the product matches your words.

If you sort by price, the list is ordered by price alone, VAT included for your delivery country. A product without stock is not removed from the list; it comes after the available ones. Filters only narrow the list.

2. No paid placement

No brand and no partner seller pays be-loud.eu for a better position or to be recommended. Should that ever change, paid products will be marked "sponsored" and this page will be updated first.

3. Search

Products whose code, SKU or EAN contains what you typed come first, because you typed an identifier. The other results follow the order in section 1 and, between equal products, how well their name or description matches your words. Search does not use your browsing history and does not depend on who you are.

4. Recommendations and the home page

"You might also like" proposes products that buyers view and buy together with the one you are looking at. "Complete the kit" shows the parts needed with it, checked against your car where we have compatibility data. "A better option" and "In-stock alternatives" show the next product of the same range with better specifications and similar products we have in stock, with the price difference. The assistant answers from the same catalogue data (stock, price, compatibility). All these lists use the order in section 1. The product of the day and the panels on the home page are chosen by our staff from products in stock; nobody pays for them.

5. What is personalised

Prices and the order described in sections 1 to 4 are the same for everyone and do not use your personal data. Two things are personalised, and only if you accepted "Personalisation" in the cookie settings: the home-page row "Picked for you", built from the categories you viewed recently, the car you chose and, if you are signed in, your wish list and past orders; and the offer that may be shown on the cart or at checkout (for example free delivery or a discount), chosen automatically among rules we set, from your cart and your activity on the site. An offer never changes the price of a product and becomes a voucher only when you press "Apply". Without consent, the home page is the same for everyone and an offer depends only on your cart.

6. The seller shown

When a product is available from more than one seller, the seller shown is chosen by one rule, the same for everyone: MT SOFTWARE CONSULTING SRL when the product is in our own stock, otherwise the active partner seller registered for your delivery country that has the most of it in stock. Price, commission or payment play no part.
